    yea, i did not think of that, but there is a good point. i personally took mine in and had it tuned, but then again, i had a 2.8 pulley that they had to tune for.

    Your's is different than the 05 and up Mustangs. Just adding a Cold Air Kit requires a reprogram of the PCM on the 05 and up.

    Just a CAI will make the car run really lean from what I recall.

    NA cars with a personal tune will wake it up...SOTP feel for sure.

    I don't know that it would do anything to save fuel. If that's all you want, just use a drop-in K&N, use Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil and air your tires up to the max.

    Sux about the re-tune on the new cars... never heard of that before.

    There was an article in either 5.0 or MM&FF back when they first came out. Has something to do with the mass air being inside of the stock air box if I remember correctly.

    If you want to save money BBk's intake for the 05-07 cars is the only one on the market that dosent need a tunner.
