Why not? You car got my vote. We were talking about it when you drove in, saying how we loved the clean looking front end. The carbon Terminator hood is awesome!

Thanks for the vote. But after years, and countless shows(Ford an non-Ford ),and NEVER even getting a honorable mention, let alone a 1st,2nd,or 3rd,I'm just burned out on all the work, time, an $$..

If your only going to the event for the fabulous prizes and gifts
AKA dust collectors you will be disappointed more times then not!
Car shows are a popularity contest. and that's that!
I enjoy going to shows where their is no class for my car or parking area
no interest and no one ask's me a dam thing! I can leave the event
early and with the money i save with no entry fee. We can have a
nice dinner out on the way home.

blackmagic- sorry to hear that man. your car is definetly in one of the toughest classes to be in though.

some year i will make this cougar show, i have always wanted too, but always seem to have something conflicting with this weekend. i was up on the rim all weekend enjoyin some beautiful sights and camping.

I must say i feel the same. I have gone to car shows for 2 years now and i have received nothing. Which motivated me to make my car stand out. I too am burned out from the work to make the car as clean as possible. But like he said. It for the people and thankfully i can go and have a good time even if i dont win anything. which keeps me going to them. And i know sometime my temper/attitude gets the best of me and the mix of 6 in the morning does not help. So if anything i will walk up to Trish and get a hug just to put a smile on my face and remember: i am here and i am here because i want too. Not because i am being forced. Im young, im driving an amazing machine in which i have built and hey! thats more than what others can say. + it just got me a job. And to add onto the popularity contest. Thats the God Damn truth. High school follows you and the preps are still the ones who get all the awards even tho your science project was better. Thats why you look for peoples choice. Just don't give up tho. And remember. You money is not going into someone else's car's at these shows. Its going to good causes. We are fortunate to have a lot. Others can afford top ramen.

P.s. There is a show at 83rd and deer valley on november 21st. You want in? Food donation. Thats it. maybe try that and make some new friends. I don't think i have had the pleasure to introduce my self to you yet. But i could be mistaken..

    Nice trophy yourself, Chris!

Yea, I got pics of the other cars. I will post them up on here shortly. But I wouldn't hold your breath. Modern Warfare 2 came out today, I have a Borla cat-back to install, and I go to Vegas tomorrow night for a bachelor party. So...yea.

And I know how you guys feel about shows...I have been going to shows with various cars for over 10 years now, and this is my first 1st place trophy since a high school car show with my 73 Mach 1 I used to have. I did not expect to have anything but a good time :)
