    Hey guys,

Working on the mustang today. It popped a lug (1 out of 4) on my right rear wheel. Didnt notice right away and it toasted my drum and cobra wheel as the holes are now ovalled out. I have to replace the axle seals as well. It is a 8.8 I assume as it is a square with rounded corners. Do all the internals need to come out or do i just need to take of the four bolts and slide the axles out? I am going to change the front bearings as well just for good measure since i have all the wheels off. Does anyone have any advice about the rear, wheels (repairing the lug holes?), or any references that I should look at? Any info would be great. I have never done these things on my car before.

You need to pop the rear end cover and remove the c clips to get the axles out.

Thanks, I got the clips out, they actually come out pretty nice. I thought I once heard something about welding up wheels and then redrilling in order to fix, anyone else heard of this?
