We will have our own staging lane on club day. So you can race your fellow HPS members. We need someone with a video camera to attend.
Where has that Akuma camera professional been?

I will have the video camera and a tri pod i will set up at the track along with a good pit.

I recommend any newbies (which includes myself) to read the tips posted on Speedworld's web site: http://www.speedworldmotorplex.com/tips.htm. I found it to be very helpful and now I'm not as apprehensive about my first run.

Does anyone know how many runs we'll get for $20? Does that just cover a single pass?

As many as you can get in.
You can go back to staging after every run if you like.

lol I dont own a lightning I have a black 2000 Mustang Gt Vert.

P.S. so i DO need a helmet? my best time is a 14.1 on drag radials and this time I am using slicks for a first. They never told me I had to wear a helmet before. anybody know????

You do. If you run faster than a 14.00 then you will need one. If you drive a soft top convertible you will need one. My first time down at Speedworld they let me run cause it was my first time but told me next time to bring a helmet so I have one that stays in my trunk.

I think it is a good idea to have one anyway.
