    He has 3.73 with with 26 tires.

    I like when he tells me my 4.30 gears are too much for the street...yet he is at 3500 on the freeway and i'm at 2800.... T5 with overdrive of course for me

    I dont know how you guys cope without overdrive....

    well i just bought a c4 with brake with 4000 stall its a pa super comp
    need to know what gears i need with 28 tall tire anyone

    The gear stuff is at the bottom.

    If you are using a slick factor in some growth on the top end. They may have a .5" higher average 28.5"

    The other factor in converter efficiency you will have some slip as the converter is not a true 1 to 1 coupling. I would plan for at least 5% when selecting a gear ratio.

    looks like 4.30s are perfect if i get a tune and extend rev to 6500
    i quess i need to get a hold of keith

    Are you factoring in the No2?

    What speed are you planning on trapping at?

    Autos do not always need the low gears like a stick car due to the torque multiplication.

    4.30s at 2500 RPMs on a 28" tire will give you 48mph. On a 26" 44MPH.

    Just something to consider for street duty.

    On the bottle, you're gonna need in the range of a 4.11 on the very high side and a 3.73 on the low.
    That's if the converter is set up for the bottle.
