    Back in the saddle again

Well, I'm back in a street stang again, picking her up next week, the 85 foxbody drag car just didn't work out for me, as the Wife did not want me back on the track. So since I missed the old 95 conv I had, I decided to find another sn95, but with the notorious problems of the 5.0, I decided that I wanted one with a different engine. After a lot of looking I found a sweet deal on a 1996 coupe with a 1999 V6 4.3L Stroker motor fresh build, less than 4000 miles on the engine. The engine was built by Tom Yentzer of Super Six Motorsports, if your not familiar with these guys, they build 10 sec 6 bangers.

The engine is balanced and blue printed, Split Port Heads, Ported and Polished upper & lower intake manifolds, Mac long tube headers, resonators and a flowmaster exhaust. The suspension has been upgraded and has a Ford V8 racing tranny (5 speed) with zoom hp clutch. Has a 75-125hp Nos system installed. Car has been dyno tested and came with a SCT handheld Tuner. I was very impressed as to how fast the car was on the test drive. I have never been in a 6cyl with so much power, I felt like I was in a V8. The car has a unique sound all it's own, it does not sound like a 6 or an 8, you'll have to hear it for yourself to see what I mean.

I took her out for a test drive and just had to have it. Got a great deal on her and I think I'll be keeping this one for a while, a few blems on the exterior, no biggy and a nearly perfect interior. So when I pick it up next week I'll get some shots and post them up. Nice to get back into a car I can drive on the street again.
