    CCRM Issues??

I am having a problem with my 01 bullitt. Seams that the a/c compressor is not coming on. It is at a shop at the moment and they seam to think that the constant control relay module is going bad. Not sure exactly what this controls. Has anyone had problems with this module. Also, does anyone have an extra one somewhere. I guess that it is located in the pass fenderwell.

    very common.

if memory serves correct its in the passenger fender well. its basically a bunch of relays together.

pull the wheel off, take the fender liner out, unplug and unbolt. pretty easy.

do you mean that it is pretty common for the compressor not to turn on when the relay goes bad.

JUST had this problem. A/c compressor wasnt kicking on. It kept trying but it wouldn't. Made my car sound like I had an aftermarket cam in it. Ended up takin it to Highpower Auto and got a new a/c compressor and switch installed at a good price

very different problem. his isnt engaging at all. a cycling/faulty compressor isnt what he is experiencing.

I took off the inner fender and tapped on the ccrm and the clutch engaged. I got a new module coming in tomorrow.

    Thanks
