Well it's a PITA to find for those who actually want to go and shoot it as manufacturers have not been able to keep up with the demand for ammunition (Primers especially so). This was spurred by the election of Obama people put their tin foil hats on and started buying up supplies due to fears of increased gun control.
Now when the ammo shipments hit the shelves, people snatch up large quantities, which only continues the problem. Thankfully catching stuff on the shelves is getting easier. Hell, I only want a couple boxes for target shooting as I don't care to sit on a ton of ammo.~Andrew

Picked up six 50 round boxes of Federal Champion for 8.97 a box at walmart
They had almost 3000 rounds of 9mm and about 2500 .40 S&W in stock. Was glad to see some on the shelves.~Andrew
