Who's heading up to Pinetop for the car show in late September? Hopefully we can get a caravan together? Were does everyone plan to stay up in Pinetop? At the casino where the show is?

I suggest that you book a place early. The show sold out at 600 entries in 3 weeks plus there are several other attractions up here that weekend. The Friday 4:00 cruise/parade is 15 miles from the Camber of Commerce in Show Low on the Duece to Hon Dah Casino where the BBQ will be held. The show Saturday and Sunday is on the Pinetop Lakes Golf Course driving range. Check in is from 10-5 on Friday at the Pinetop Lakes Golf Course.
Thanks Trick Pony. Do you have any recommendations for lodging - something near the golf course? Is that the golf course on the east side of town towards the Casino?

The golf course is on Buck Springs road which is left atthe first stop light about a mile past Charlie Clark's heading toward the casino. A lot of entrants stay at the casino. Woodland Inn is a good place and 9 Pines is probably the most reasonable and still clean. If you are coming with other people, I would consider renting a cabin in Pinetop Lakes at www.VRBO.com . You can get very nice places for $150 -$250 per night which isn't bad if it's split among 2 or 3. Another good place is Buck Springs Resort which is on Buck Springs Road about 1/2 mile past the golf course.
I look forward to meeting you at the show.
i might head up there with my buddy wade but i wont be entering the show due to i dont have a classic. but at least go up and enjoy the nice cars and maybe gamble a little. lol.
Thanks TrickPony for the suggestions - those all sound great, especially the cabins. Dave has a list of people probably going to the show so we should be able to connect and look at lodging options. Look forward to meeting you as well! Steve
