Im thinking about purchasing a used 1.7. Anyone here gone this route? Built motor? Who in AZ is good at beefing up a motor?

I've heard alot of good stuff about SVC.
I'm sure others will pipe up.

I think you're looking at high 300's with that on a stock longblock.
You'll want to rebuild the motor if you want over 400 to the wheels, but if that's the case, the 1.7 wont get you there.
