Going to get a Space Blue Mini Cooper S with Silver roof and mirrors for the wife. When it comes in, about six weeks, I will take possession of the 2004 Dark Silver MCS. In a couple of years I plan to move forward with my plan to build a Factory-Five AC Cobra replica. But for now going back to school and all the traveling the Mini's will be well suited for the concrete jungle.
Mod plans for the Mini's
Dinan Intake box
16% reduction pulley and port for the S/C (possibility of an Eaton M62 upgrade in the future so may go that route instead)
Megan Racing adjustable coil-over suspension
Megan Racing rear adjustable control arms (to correct camber from lowering)
MTH ecu upgrade and header
larger injectors
head + cam
upgrades to the inter-cooler
eventually nitrous for the DS MCS
Won't be Cobra power but the power to weight ratio should be very sweet.
