    Firebird 6-5-2009 Burntire

I finally got out to the track with the Th-400 for the first time.
It was a cool night in Phoenix only 85-90 LOL.
The track prep was not the best as I could only get a 1.48 60ft
I picked up and average of 3mph over the six speed. This best six speed runs were done when it was 50 degrees out. I am looking forward to cooler weather and a sticky track. I know it will do a low 10.

    Here are the videos.

I am suprised that Turbo 400 is so fuel efficient

What rpm do you have your two-step and transbrake set at??

So you are not even leaving off the brake??

I am suprised you choose a higher stall, I figured you would want it tighter (200-300rpm below peak torque).

I wanted 3500 and the converter has already been sent back one time to get tightened. 3900 seems to be ok. If it pulls consistent 1.3x I will be happy. It is very tight on the top end. I am trapping around 6000 rpm. So there is less than 5% slip.
