    i will be in the garage at 10ish tomorrow morning. Is there anyone that is willing to give me a hand and knows what they are doing with a carb? Any help Appreciated!

    Check the net... There has to be tutorals on rebuilding those..

    i already rebuilt it.. the only this it can be is the person who had it before me ut gibber jets on it and now it is getting too much fuel. so when the throttle it half way open it is getting the air it wants.

    The jet size has nothing to do with running at idle. You said it seems to run well when rev'd up and holding at higher RPM. If it's dying at idle or RPM's under 2000, it has to be your idle circuit or major vacuum leak.

    Are you running a points distributor or electronic.....?

    Maybe someone has a spare used carb you can loan for an afternoon to verify that your carb is indeed bad.

    OK so i will be taking my car to PSR at the end of the month to get it checked out by a shop. i can no longer handle it nor am i in town. at the end of june i will be in town and i have to be in heber on july 4th a prefer my car. Any suggestions?
