    Run To The Pines

Some of you may know that I retired last year and moved to Pinetop. I spent last night with the Rest Stop Rodders stuffing over 1,000 Run To The Pines registration envelopes for the September show.

Run To The Pines is a great show limited to the first 550 pre-'73 entries. Every year it is sold out within three weeks of the registration packets being mailed. The show includes a 15 mile parade-cruise from Show Low to the Hon Dah Casino for a BBQ on Friday. There is a Poker Run on Saturday after the Show and tons of awards and auction on Sunday morning. This year's show will be Sep 25-27.

In an effort to get more Mustangs up here, I am attaching the registration packet. Last year we had about 22 in the Mustang class. If we get the numbers up there will be more Mustang classes added in the future.

You are welcome! We look forward to seeing you up here. Bob & Linda Gates who run the show have a 66 also. We are always looking for more Mustangs. My 65 has won the class for the last 3 years but it will be in the "Host Club" class this year guaranteeing a new winner in the Mustang class.
