Nice pic of your setup, if I remember correctly your Termi isn't your daily driver, but do you have to worry about water injestion?

ANYTIME you have that kind of CAI, you have to worry about sucking up water, but realistically, it only from hitting large puddles or trying to cross these "Street rivers" you guys get out here.

Yea, I never drive my car in the rain and it's not a dd, and I figure if I ever got stuck in the rain I'd avoid the massive puddles and such. Oh well, a few more weeks and it comes off anyway. Guess I'll have a JLT for sale....

What do you guys think about boost gauges (pillar type) on a vert?

never had a problem with the cai on my car, and i have gotten stuck in the rain a few times. i was thinking about going with the straight shot intake, but when i was shown how to convert the current intake i have into the high boost, i just stuck with it.

as for pillar pods in a vert,do it up! just be sure to buy the proper one. i would avoid the autometer pod like the plague. mainly because i know your a big dude and have big hands just like i do, and i clobbered the autometer triple pod my car had when i bought it. bought the speed of sound 2 guage setup and love it! thebest part is it looks completely stock, but yet has two guages.

Thanks for the input gents! So for sure I'll go with the sos pod, as I like the hand clearance and look. What do you think of these gauges- I like the SVT logo and they don't have that "ricer" look at night:

They are made by "speedhut" and you can get both gauges for a little over 320 bucks.
