    How much to ask

How much should I ask for my 1991 Mustang Clear title GT?..........Mods-Explorer 302 and GT40 heads with upgraded Trickflow springs, B-31 cam, T-56, Vortech Supercharger, AEM wideband, Autometer Boost, water temp, and oil pressure gauge, Summit aluminum radiator, electric fan, new tires, Tweecer r/t with a jacked up switch cable which only lets you have 1 setting. A/C works and heater to. Just passed emissions in January 09.................Needs-Speedometer cable, Tune, and the syncrols on 3rd and 4th are going bad and those gears grind( though I figured out how to put it in without grinding)Paint and interior are in great shape for a 18 year old car..................I found a 03 GT that Im gonna get and would rather have that one than this one.

My commentary, after buying/selling/working on/being into foxes for ~15 years. Generally speaking, a blown GT w/ a stockish motor (all fox bodies have bolt ons) and Vortech will be anywhere between $8K-$13K depending on supporting accessories and condition. Fresh paint is a huge plus, as are black interiors. You have a T-56, but it needs work, and no 5-lug, which hurts you slightly. You have Tweecer, so that is a plus for the right person who wants to learn it. The green paint is sort of a love-it-or-hate-it thing, so you have to find the right buyer. You could probably start out at $9K, but I think in todays market you may have to wait a while or take $7500-$8000. Try Corral, but for some reason foxes don't move to quickly in the southwest unless someone is willing to drive here for it.

I would take 6500 at the least. Mainly because the 03 GT is that price and the guy is desperate for money and I love the gt he has!

In todays market and with a bad tranny....I'd hate to say it, but you'd be lucky to get 5K for it. No one wants to buy a car that needs $1000+ of tranny work to it.

Detail the schit out of the car, clay bar it and clean the interior real nice.

Get some nice pics and post a presenting ad on CL here and in all the cites surrounding us by 6hrs(day drive).

Does it fall out of gear in 3rd or 4th?

Also remember, most after market add-ons only have value in use, not value in exchange.

x2 I've seen 9 sec turbo cars done up right selling for 10-11k. Friend just got a mint fox with a fresh tranny, vortech, and fresh built 306 for 6,500
