Do you still have the ABS hooked up?
i first tryed to keep everythign hooked up(ABS) and just tap into the one rear sensor with the two wires off the speed sensor. and that didnt work, then i disconnected the two wires going back to the computer from the ABS sensor, and now the ABS is just wired into the two wires from the speed sensor that was on my old T45.
so im thinking maybe i have the wires backward, so ill try switching them around and running it that way. im hoping i didnt mess anything up by trying to run the abs and the speedo off the same wires.

as far as the converter goes, my stall is suppose to be about 4000, im fine with it stalling at 3500 ish, im just scraching my head on why it isnt building more boost.
ive tryed it twice now and the first time i was on it for about 4 secs and the second time i was on it longer(maybe 7-9 secs)

it seems to build boost just fine under normal driving though.

but right now my trans brake doesnt seem right, it wont rev higher than 3500rpms and and the boost only goes up to 4psi,

I also have to get my speedo to work. i hooked that up to my rear ABS toner ring, and nothing is registering, (maybe i have the wires backwards, im going to rewire it and try it again)
all the turbo guys had problems with this when they first started doing auto's. it was figured out by adjusting the tune somewhat. U belueve it had to do with timing in the low rpms, specifically around your stall.

if its going to 3500 on the brake thats good...for a turbo car at least. I would search over on ModFords or SVTP in the turbo sections. lots of threads on it.

Read my thread real close on the ABS to speedo conversion. My diagrams are from an 03/04 cobra. It should work ok on your car. There are only 2 wires so maybe they are reversed.

I would talk to lenny about the converter maybe it is a little too tight for your application. I had to send mine back one time for an adjustment. Or maybe it is tune related like badass said.

hope its just tune related. it seems to build boost just fine while normal driving.
ill talk to my tuner about it before i make the drive to him.

as far as the speedo, i took my time with the install, and its only really a 2 wire hook up, but i dont think it will hurt to swap them and give it a try.
if it doesnt work after i swap the wires, then ill be scratchin my head. maybe ill have to bite the bullet and buy the $200 worth of conversion parts:(

thanks for your help though guys

I was going to go that route also, but I was able to locate a new JW in the parts market. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the PA uses an adapter ring for the TH-400 so if you ever went to a Glide or C4 you could use the bell housing by purchasing the correct adapter ring which is a nice feature.

im not sure on the swapping stuff, but it does have an adaptor ring, its a very nice setup though. the guy that did my trans said he is going to start using them over the JW from now on.

    John Deere Hy-Guard Data

As recommended by my converter builder I switched over to John Deere Hy-Guard Hydraulic Transmission Oil from Dexron 3. The results are 20 degrees cooler trans temps on average and the converter tightened up 200 RPMs on the transbrake. Shifts are very nice.
