Same clip in plate, but there will be a carbon fiber plate with the trans temp gauge in it.

What else are you going to do to your car while it is down for the auto swap??

I just can't see how a turbo 400 is going to shave a half second off your ET's. It's not like your car is a slouch out of the hole right now. Are you currently granny shifting really slowly or something??

Nice deal, you will love it and wish you would have done it sooner. Did one in a single turbo 03 cobra several months back after three "1500hp" capable Lentech transmissions took shits after the first pass with he car only making 450rwhp on 6lbs. Did a JW bell, Turbo 400, trans brake, Neil Chance bolt together with billet steel hub. Make sure your clearances are exact of what they should be from the flywheel to the converter before you run it or you will be putting a new crank in it quick like!

You should be able to pull your converter out of the transmission a maximum of .120" to a minimum of .100". Shim the converter lugs to this distance as required. Do not run the car if you don't have your converter clearance correct. If you must use washers, avoid the stamped steel washers which often vary in thickness, use machine washers or head bolt washers that have been measured with a caliper or micrometer to be the same thickness.

I hope you're putting a good converter in it with anti ballooning plates, if that thing balloons it will walk the crank forward and knock out the oil pump and waste the thrust bearing.

Auto's are easier on parts due to less "shock", more consistent and no chance of a missed shift. I'm all about rowing gears but if you want consistency and reliability it's the only way to go.

What does that have to do with my question??

I know auto's are consistent and easy on driveline, and I don't care which way the OP's cares to shift his car...but hell if you can gain a half second on swapping to a turbo 400 then I am ditching my T-56 right now.
