looking good! making me remember my install 2 years ago!!! can I ask why the 400 over say...a c4 or 4r?

I predict you go low 10s. the immediate .5 sec depends on driver imo. if you can bang gears an auto swap isnt going to do much. just look at the fast eaton cars....10.3...10.5s. your car hooks good at low 1.4s and it should maybe go a little better. but I say 10.0-10.1 depending on your shifting

I ran 10.98 w/ the 6 speed and my first pass in the auto was a 10.95. took me 2 years, 2 converter changes, suspension changes and a lot of learning to get to 10.5s on the same power.

the recent 400 swaps has me thinking about one....or a c4....

I wanted a bomb proof setup that didn't require a magic wand to make it work. I have had the six speed out so many times it was making me sick. This trans is good for 1500HP so I have a bunch of room to grow. I also have some quality lightweight internals. The Th-400 with the bell is about 145lbs. So it is the same weight as the T-56 with the SFI Bell.

I realize the converter may have to come out, but I am hoping it is right on the money. The TH-400 is way easier to pull than the T-56 thats for sure.

As far as a C-4. I have a friend than picked up ET after all of his C-4 woes when switching to a Rossler Th-400.

I am going to get some 28" drag radials and probably back off to 3:55 gears. So that will be a very streetable setup cruising at 65MPH.

As far as ET I bet a high 9. My 10.46 run was still not an optimal run.

Looks real nice! How did you locate the shifter and install it before having the tranny? What are you doing with your old 6 speed?
