I hate electrical problems

my 82 hatch is having a number of electrical problems and one of them is brake lights... the fuse keeped popping so i replaced with the proper amp fuse and now the fuse does not pop but the brake lights still dont come on.... any one have a wiring diagram or know of were to find one online... any help would be great

check the switch that controls the lights to make sure it is still intact. Get down on the floor on the drivers side and look up on the brake pedal and you will see it there. If you have a voltmeter or test light see if you have power there. Have you done any work around the lights lately?

i was planning on back probing the BOO switch have not had a chance and no not touched the lights in prob 6 months
