Things are still dragging on. I decided to have a few other things chromed and polished. he's also going to degree my cams, but coudn't get to it this week.

I wasn't liking how the black valve covers looked with all the alumunum.
So I painted them.
I think they'll look good

Wow, I like those valve covers! Good luck with the rest of the build, hope it ends up working out. Looks good so far.

I didn't like how light the blue turned out, so I messed with it some more.

well we FIINALLY ran the first nitrous tune today.
turned out pretty good.
Bottle heater wasn't working so the pressure was down a little.
ran with a 75 shot dry and 75 shot wet (estimated)
it looks like a good level to get used to on :)

I've had her home a few days now... and WOW, it feels GOOD!

the suspension feels great, night and day difference.
the motor feels awsome, it's really punchy, and sounds good.

I've still got a few things to wrap up (like always) and the clutch is kinda annoying. they say it needs to break in, but damn! it's really abrupt.
so we'll see what happens with that.

The nitrous is fun! I gotta play with the switch settings and stuff, and wire up my gauge on it still.
I spent the weekend cleaning out my Dingy, cluttery garage.
I've built 2 302's since my car was at MMW.

It's been there about 1.5 months, and I"ve been crazy busy.

Here's some pix of the progress.

I've had years to forge my opinion of the mustang body style.
I'm a fan of the sn95 body style, but there's a few things I don't like about it.
SO, I couldn't find any body parts that looked like the whole package.
Sooo, I went a bit custom.
I found a great body guy, and he has been awsome to go the custom rought, and they've put skill and hard work into it.
Here's some pics of the progress.

This side skirt was the closest thing I could find to the look I wanted.
they had to shave wedges out of it, and rework the whole piece.







FILLED OUT THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR to make the gap clean and uniform!! :)





Here we are 2 weeks later, lots and lots of blending, sanding, blocking, sanding, blocking....





I think it turned out pretty bad ass!!
