i want to do gears

I happen to have a brand new set of 3.73 gears and a brand new install pack with a the clutches and bearings and what not, never been used just been sitting collecting dust. I can make you a good offer on both if you want them

If you drive on the freeway alot I would go 373. I actually took 373's out of my 99 GT auto and put in 355. I now have an 01 Cobra witch redlines higher and I have 410's and they are almost too low. I would do 373's if I was to do it over. If you do not drive freeways everyday then 410's would be the sh!t.

All GT's have an 8.8 rear end with a trac lok.

If the clutches are fried only the right rear will spin,

where are you located, I still have the ones I pulled out of my 99 that I would let go for 75 bux. I only used them for 20k miles or so.

Motive 3.90's tend to whine.

+1. mine definetly whine. have since day one. but the gear is perfect for the track, and my car is not my DD. and when i do cruise on the street it gives me a better excuse to crank the tunes or smash the gas harder.
