Any tricks on the tank removal. Last time I dropped a tank was about 10 years ago on my 5.0.

Disconnect fuel line filter, take out the 3 bolts that hold the neck to the body, place jack undertank, blow off the 3 bolts that hold in the straps, drop jack slowlly, and viola.

Do the fuel line still have a plastic push in clip that holds them in place or is there a special tool required?

How is the heck did you get the 3/8 gates submersible line? I can't take this hesitation anymore. Time to drop the tank.

look aty me posted thread. I got napa to order it. Its a pain, but can be done. I through in the big shot with 22psi the other night and I still had plenty of duty cycle left. My fuel system kicks ass right now! I did shit my pants a little. Same boost level and same turbo setup was good for 850 RWHP on hellioncobras car and I added a 75 dry shot on top of it

I called NAPA and they have no clue. They can't find the part number.
Did gates call them for you?

Also did you drop the tank all the way or just lower it on a jack enough to get to the pump assembly?
