The kid has been accepted to the Art Institute in Chicago. Still waiting to hear from San Francisco. Emphasis in photography. Well rounded in all areas of the arts. She's my only child so it is going to be hard to have her so far away. The next 6 months are going to fly by! I am not looking forward to the Empty Nest Syndrome....at least I'll have the dog. Chicago weather is 35 degrees right now, brrrr!

Thanks for the replies! We are so proud of her. She has managed to stay focused and with the support of family she is on her way to being the next Ansel Adams. The house is going to be so quiet when she goes. No more loud music at 2 in the morning, friends cars I can hear a block away, and the crazy pool party with a dozen teens.
