I started my car this morning and the cd player (Shaker 1000), was playing in Fast Forward. I have tried everything to get it out of the fast forward mode, but have had not luck. Has this happend to anyone else? If so, what was your fix, other than taking it to the dealer?

the shakers head unit has always been the weak link in the chain. Normally I hear of decks locking up in an ERR mode with all the disks in it and this if the first I have heard of this. If you insist on keeping the factory radio then I know soundwerks in scottsdale does repairs on factory equipment but I would really recomend replacing it.

Is your car still under warrantee? They should replace it for free..

Could try disconnecting your car battery for 2-3 minutes and see if this resets the system?
