Since you'll be up in the valley, head over thru Woodland Hills and take Topanga Canyon to the coast. Nice 30 min drive. Check out Santa Monica pier. Drive the coast if you want. Downtown Sant Monica is cool.
Check out Hollywood/Highland area.
