According to an announcement in today's Wall Street Journal, Saleen Automotive, the company that produces the Dark Horse Mustang, the Saleen Gurney Edition, etc., is looking to sell their global auto operations. In fact, the company has enlisted the help of William Blair & Company, L.L.C., a global investment firm. Rumors have been swirling about the company's future ever since Saleen had what some called a "fire sale" earlier this year. The company immediately denounced the "fire sale" accusations and said they are not in jeopardy of going bankrupt. Of course, many others have wondered about the future of the company ever since its founder, Steve Saleen, left in June of 2007. Steve Saleen now runs SMS Limited.
