    Cruise On Central 11 8 08

Got there late, whats new, 430ish, wanted to get there at 300. For the out of staters, this is a returning event after a 2? year absence. I first found out about it fall of 02, went the first time fall 04? and again spring 05. A biannual event, Im hoping it will return this Spring.

If anyone wants the full size file of this to use as a PC wallpaper, just PM email.

After I had left the lot to cruise this was fired up, so I missed out on that.

Great vids and pics again. I was there, so many cars of different types and makes. I got out there on Central and lite them up for the crowd. Not much smoke thou but it was fun like the old days of the 70's. I'll be there next year.

As far as the cruising went, I was a little bit disappointed. I figured the so called "Light Rail" would take up some room. I just never dreamed it was going to take up so much that it would cause "door handle to door handle" cruising. Give me the "Old Central" back!

Park Central parking lot was loaded. Around 5:30 - 6:00 the Police had "all" the east side entrances blocked. As I was leaving to cruise, I almost had the feelin' they were saying "Thanks for coming, please don't come come again!"

Anyone catch the Impala (the one in the vid) hang itself up on the little speed bump?

Yes, that happened right after I taped it. After the Willys went by I went to see what was up, I shouldve filmed it. Ive seen that Impala at Safeway.

I sure missed out on that! Listening to those old front-engine diggers is really cool! Thanks for the pics/vid.
