I have the Tokico D-specs. They are infinately adjustable.
I have had good luck with my QA-1 shocks, they are 12 way adjustable.

thanks for all the input! due too two cars i know having extremely good 60' times, and running the illuminas on them, i ended up ordering a pair of those today. we will see what happens!
we'll see! one thing at a time. not going back to 175's up front though, it was not street able imo with that weak of a spring.
Mine are not that bad with the struts on 4. They are crazy loose with the struts on 1.

Nothing at all wrong with 175# springs up front. What length were you using?? You should use a 14" coil.
I run those with the adjustable Tokico's up front (set to 5 on the street).......they work great. My car is lowered and I drive it all over, never bottom out the struts or other issues.

i did have a 14" on there, but i have lakewood 90/10's on the front. i drove around for a few weeks, and i could not stand it. i bottomed out over everything, and speedbumps made me scared for my life. the 225's have made it far more driveable on the street.
Sounds like coil bind possibly, your car may just be nose heavy also.
Most cars can run the 14/175's fine on the street thats why it is considered the all around street/strip spring.
I have ran 14/130s in mine...talk about soft.
