    rear shocks?

ok, so it was pointed out to me that i need a new pair of rear shocks. something that i can adjust. i know there are a few choices, like strange has a 10 way adjustable, and tokico has the illunminas and the d-specs. whats the best choice? i would appreciate any input.

oh, btw- my car is a SRA car... no irs here!

Competition Engineering three way adjustables are a great deal. if they ever start to fail i will look into QA1's double adj.

MMR Sells them for 129$ per pair, and they have the same 50/50 setting you have been running with the lakewoods.

Also have 40/60 and 30/70 settings

They are cheap, but so are the lakewoods and they are obviously working for you.

i ran tokico illumina's in my stang for 3 years no issues. I stayed away from strang because of clunking noises I repeatedly heard about on different boards. Otherwise stranges work great and are priced nicely

they were, but i think they are shot. i had a few people watch the car this past weekend, tryin to figure out whats costing me on my launch right now, and i was told that the shocks look to not be doing thier job properly. so, since i am gonna replace them, i wanna get something that i can dial in for varying track conditions.

maybe after shocks! i am not against anything that helps the launch, but gotta fix the basics first. have the illuminas provided you enough adjustment at the track?

Yes I run the rears on setting 4.
    5 is the stiffest.
I also have the 2000 bullet springs.

On the front side I have the tokico drag struts set on 4 also.

The first launch on setting 1 pulled the front tires way up. LOL

Everything seems to work well. I am going to play with tire pressure and launch RPMs as I feel the car should be able to 60 in the 1.3x range.

Based on my videos the front tires seem to stay on the ground with full strut extension to the shift point.

What is your current spring / shock setup?
