Now is it a good idea or abd idea getting a 4 barrel. i have a great deal on a holly double pump carb four barrel and i am greatly looking into it. he want 300 i only have 2. i have a guy comeing to look at the car four pipes so breathing will be no problem. eventually i will be looking at headers but not to soon. Any thingi need to lookat brfore i buy it?
Any advice?

If the car is a auto Id want a vac. secondaries carb. Also if it a 750 it will be to much carb. Stay with a 650cfm.

What size motor do you have, 302 or 351? I wouldn't go any bigger then a 600 on the 302 and maybe a 650 on the 351.. For $300 you can get a brand new problem free Edelbrock 1405. Great carb. I've seen them for $269.
A used double pumper Holley will be a headache from day one.
