Local guy back on the east coast that posts a lot on a site i'm on is throwing down some good times with a 3v. I have to say i'm very impressed. Here are his mods:

11.14 at 123.50 mph 1.68 short time
Saleen SC 3.00 pulley (13.5 lbs boost)
JDM Tune/ Ultimate Saleen Air Intake 95mm MassAir
Stock Trans Converter/Trans Fluid Catchcan
4.10 gears/LCA Brackets,
Spyder D.S.,Metco loop,BMR Rear springs
Kooks LT Headers/X pipe/Cats, FRPP Mufflers
MT 275-40-17 Drag Radials/stock rims

about his runs last time out

My 1/4 mile drag racing night at Oldbridge/Englishtown Raceway Park.
I need to go to 15 inch Bogarts with a wider and higher tire. She hit the rev limiter at the finish (6700) So every run was around 123.5 mph only. We thought she would be close with the 4.10 gears and 275-40-17 Mickey Thompson Drag Radials.
First run was an 11.18 @ 123.44 Burn out..no prob. Both wheels smoked good. Came out of hole real good 1.68 short time..but 2nd gear spun on all three runs tonight. After that happens..bam...Third gear!...So basically all night with the 5speed automatic..she was only using 1st gear to 3rd to 4th.
Second run was an 11.20 @ 123.52mph 1.74 short time . That was the run my left tire either wasnt wet enough or I got too far in the sticky stuff. I have a bad habit of just watching the left rear wheel in my side mirror to see smoke. Once I do for awhile..I am done..well..no smoke. Then I saw all the smoke on the right side! Ooooops! All is fine though..thank God. I spun real bad on this run out of the hole and when she hit second gear. No duh! Left tire didnt get heated up :(
Third run was me best... 11.14 @ 123.50 1.68 short time. I made sure I spun the tires good in the water this time and stayed on the edge of the water for the burn out. All was fine! Both tires smoked real good.
So..first thing is the rear wheel/tire drag setup .
So all in all..not bad for not being able to use 2nd gear. (remember on these cars setup like mine , you can only leave the trans in drive. Trans will not shift fast enough if manually shifted. Will hit rev limiter even if you shift 500 rpms sooner.)
My stang did real good....I'm happy!
So my next time out I will run with the wider higher tire setup out back.
Probably wont be till JDM Day , usually in November. If sooner..believe..I will!!
