cobras are considered limted edition but they make them almost every year? I think??
wow. so do people really want them to stop making stangs all together? lame....
those people should be ashamed of themselves. but it also states that ford said they would only make 100 "2007" units but it did not mention it not making them for "2008". it never said they wouldnt make those. some people just are worried about themselves and dont care if ford suffers.
The Lightning is something of a rarity, as long as you got one of the early ones in a given generation. Ford saw how the minimal amounts made were getting snapped up, so they made more.
I have a hard time understanding them thinking they've got something special. Sure, 100 made. I've read/seen the reviews. I'd have a hard time laying down $59k for a car that only does 11s. I think I could build a car that would run 11s for much less. The weight of the car is what makes it slow. So, if they want to cry about a heavy car that would run 10s, at a much lighter weight, let them. But, as it has been said before, Ford said they were going to make 100 for 2007. They didn't say they weren't going to make anymore after that.
I'm glad that I have one of the two years Ford produced the Terminator. Sure, they didn't make 100 per year. But, they did make them for only two years. I believe, that alone, helps these cars hold their value.
