Pistons in 85 were forged but if you are looking for a used SB then 87-92 is what you want. 86 had no valve reliefs which limits your cam choices and in 93 they went to hypers. Now hypers get a bad rap because they tend to break before melting but they have their advantages and with the correct tune will support good power levels.
