How does this compare to the accufab 75mm T/B and plenum combo? If it's similar in performance it might be worth it considering the price difference.

Performance wise it should perform better, it is larger and has a better, smoother transition. The price is also a lot better!

Awesome. I'm planning on picking this up in the very near future, a review would be great!

Here we go! I installed this part with a BBK cold air kit at the same time, and it totally woke up the top end of the power curve. The car is noticeably faster, and pulls much smoother and harder at the top end. I have pics -

I don't have money for a dyno run so I can't exactly get numbers for you, but my experience with it the past few days is very positive. The car seems to pull a lot stronger in the mid-top end of the power band. It hesitates a little when I mash the gas, but I think I might just need a tune.
The only downside (if you can call it that) is that the throttle can clearly be heard opening if you feather the gas (like in traffic for eg)

Interesting. It doesn't sound like it's going to dissuade me from buying the piece, but what kind of noise is it? Metal on metal scrape? Grind? Squeak?

Difficult to describe the noise. If the car is off, manually play with the throttle by hand. You will hear the sound of it moving into and out of resting position; just imagine that sound being alot louder. It's not a squeak or a grinding noise though.

Edit: it's not an unpleasant sound, I just wanted to state that there is a difference
