NEW: 08' GT 3V Whipple Data

Here's some fresh data I received this weekend from Whipple on their 2008 Mustang GT Kit. The 08' required some changes to be made to the intake per emissions laws. The only real change was an addition of a carbon element used on all air boxes to help trap fuel vapors from entering the atmosphere at the air box. So Whipple redesigned their intake system with a new oval maf and intake tube. Here's the results which I think everyone will be very happy with.

All of the testing was done in Fresno California in extremely hot conditions using 91 octane and on a 100% stock car besides the Whipple supercharger kit.

So this 08 Whipple is designed to use just the stock air box?

The 08 kit uses the stock box but its modified to accept the whipple oval inlet tube and maf. Hope that helps. Jared
