Just wanted to say, I just completed the 3G alt upgrade on my car to include adding the additional mega fuse and 4 gauge power wire. This mod was much simpler than everyone makes it out to be, or maybe I just got luckyAnyway, if anyone needs help doing this don't hesitate to get ahold of me

Fuse was a 200 amp stereo type fuse, cost for fuse holder and 2 fuses was around $20.

I got a nice 200amp fuse kit with 4g off ebay for really cheap when I did mine.
Trimming the bracket was the only thing I didnt like doing.JENNABEARS Foundation

Trimming the bracket is probably the toughest part. It can be trimmed out quite nicely with an angle grinder and finished up with a dremel tool.

You can get the harnesses premade with fuses and any other harnesses that you need from rjminjection. Cost around 60.00 for both the battery harness with fuse and alternator harness.

sounds a little high to me. Just run the parts down yourself and you can keep half that amount in your pocket.

Yup, 3G conversion is a piece of cake on the Fox. Although I kinda cheated. I bought a PA Performance 150A 3G Small Case HO. No grinding required.
