July 19th 5pm: Fall Show Meeting & BBQ

I have not heard from many forum members if they are going to attend the fall show planning meeting this Saturday. BBQ at 5pm, show meeting from 6-8pm and then a movie on the giant outdoor screen. And you can watch from the pool if you'd like.

The CMC is providing hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks. Just bring a side dish to share.

Let me know if you'll be attending and I'll pm you with the address. We're in N Phx by the Costco where we sometimes meet for road trips.

We had a great turnout and picked some new members. Dan and Dianna brought their one day old P51 Roush and joined the club on the spot. Wow! Vince brought his '65 factory Paxton equipped coupe with 26k original miles.

Thanks to everyone for bringing so much food to share. Several people were waiting for John to show up with his famous ribs. And he didn't disappoint!

Oh thanks to my wife for cooking and cleaning up after 50 people.

Yes I second that! Food was outstanding and I found some type of chocolate cake (not suppose to be eating) that was so good it was almost impossible to stop eating it.

As always I loved Johns ribs. John's a rib making God!
This gathering shoots any diet right thru its Arss!

Anyone that missed Vinces car '65 Dealer Paxton equipped coupe with 26k original miles really missed a treat! The doors closed so tight it sounded like it came from the factory yesterday, was amazing.
I wouldnt want to be in the 1965 modified class with this car next to me! I believe he joined Copperstate last night as well!

Summary: California car with dealer installed Paxton super charger. Engine re-built to 302 "K" Code 289 HiPo specs. Description: 1965 Mustang 2 door hardtop. Sold new in Norwalk, California, on December 19, 1964. Dealer then installed a Paxton super charger. Original motor was replaced with a custom-built 302 to 289 HiPo specs with solid lifter cam. The Paxton super charger was re-installed and a Tremac 5-speed transmission was also added. This car has only 25,633 actual miles. Equipped with Rally Pack and styled steel wheels. Car was re-painted by the renowned Jr. Conway Body Shop in Lynwood, California. This is an extremely nice original, rust-free car. It has the original interior as well as being correct black on black. The paint job is outstanding. A great, original "A" Code Mustang hardtop.
