I love my car and my truck but if someone was gonna steal it, take it. I have gap on both of em. If I walked out on em I would ask what they were doing, they probably aren't gonna steal the car now anyway because I have seen them.

Ihave the Viper, but not the paging one. However I am glad it has a VERY bright Blue LED that flashes ,when the alarm is set. Installer put it halfway up the windshield post. VERY bright at night and still quite visible during the day.I also encountered 2 "questionable types" looking at my car and one noticed the flashing blue light. He pointed it out to his companion and they both left.

That sucks man. My car has an alarm that kills the starter when activated. The fuel pump works, but won't crank. Don't know the brand though. I also have cameras with a recording DVR system that was about 600 bucks, watching over the driveway and corner spot lights that stay on all the time, to keep the area lite-up. My house looks like a fortress at night. LOL

sucks bout wouldnt this be scouting not scamming? Scamming would be if they were like i'm leaving to head bacy to texas tomorrow but want the car and the banks closed so if i send a service to pick it up with a money order for this blah blah blah that would be scamming. Car alarms are overated people dont even look anymore when when is going off. they are easy to kill the siren part at least rest of the alarm takes a few minutes. Crap all you have to do is pop the hood and disconnect the battery then pull the system off and 10 mins later your out. I've removed 2 alarms from old cars a viper and a generic brand one and yea not hard to remove if you know what you need to drop the panels etc. Unless your install guy got fancy thats all it would take. A brighter light wont do anything but piss off you or your neighbors for a bright flashing light. Mix scare a teenager from smashing yoru window for a stereo but for people going to steal a car they already know all the tricks and what to look for. If they want the car they will take it end of story there is nothing you can do.

I also have a truck club on the steering wheel and my dad's jeep is parked behind it. Try taking it now!

My neighbor is a Federal Officer and another lives right down the road. I dont see nobody in our neighborhood. Of course its well know who these guys are. One kid even leaves his BMW parked outside with the top down.

I would be happy to help anyone out that has questions about their security system from troubleshooting problems to seeing if it is really secure.
