I give up
Yea i really give up. Car just ended for the second time on ebay this time I posted the car with no nitrous and waited almost a week before i relisted it. After about 10 calls on the car, no one actually coming out to see the car, having almost 1200 hits on ebay, 28 watchers, and the mid not even hitting mid 10,500 I give up. I really dont understand it compared to other cars on ebay etc the car was priced a lot better. I've had countless people tell me the car is immaculate, cleanest camaro they've seen etc. Some guy ran a carfax cause he didnt believe me the car was never reapainted. I've had people say the car is priced to low, etc but yet no hits to speak of. I have the title in hand and am wondering if there is a way to take a loan out on the car for a little bit to pay off debt and do a few things. Personal loan rates are crazy right now. Anyone know?

take a third and fourth job!
no one wants to buy anything these days. on top of it all, its hard to sell something that uses gas with all thats going on now. have you tried placing "OBO" at the end of your price? that usually gets more people intrested.

people looking to buy a mustang , cobra, camaro any car like that has money. They are not financially struggling at the moment (not saying payment etc will not place them in hard times, but they should knwo this pryer to buying). Around now you have to appeal to the young kid who thinks they can afford it and the old man who has a paid off house and is living comfortabely.

yeah that sounds about right for a target audience.

Please don't take offense, but I am looking around for a used mustang right now, and the number one thing on my list is NO MODS OR RACE HISTORY!!!!!! If I was looking for an F-body, I wouldn't buy yours either, because of what has been done to it. Alot of people that I talk to and deal with, feel the same way I do. Why take the risk of buying a car that has been regularly beat on and have somthing break after the purchase because of the previous owner's habits. Again, I'm not trying to offend in any way, I am just stating what I fell is a common belief amongst people looking for a particular kind of performance car. Whether it be bow-tie or Blue Oval makes no difference. I wish you the best of luck in trying to sell your car and getting what you really want.

not for nothing you would have to be really ignorant to think a mustang, camaro, nova, chevelle etc was not raced. I'd rather someone be honest that it has been to the track etc. Bolt on mods are hard to mess a car up with, I would never buy a car with bolt ons etc without a tune. Power adders yes it does become a touchy subject. I would never buy a motor swapped car thats a big no no, wiring etc is not something to trust a normal person to do

I don't think many people are really looking to get something that get less then 20mpg. I also have to agree that if I were lookin for a car I would also look for one that had no race history. My mother drove my stang for the first 12 yrs of its life and it didn't see much time above 2500 rpms. I will admit that a car like that will be a little more difficult to find but there are plenty of cars that have been adult driven and while that would include an occasional romp but not real track time with nitrous. I still have a hard time with the idea of buying a car on ebay but one with a race history no matter how clean it is would not get a 2nd look.
I think all of these factors are going to make it a little tough for you.

ebay had no knowledge of nitrous on the car and you cant tell me you didnt take your moms stang out and didnt get on it. I've actually had people say its not healthy to buy a car thats never been gotten on. There is nothing but carbon build up etc. Getting on the car actually is good for the car from time to time, Its not goot 24/7 but a strong running car has been gotten on from time to time.
That being saud a car that has is full exhaust, a lid, stall, lowering springs, lower control arms, and a tune is far from highly modified

Ruck, also keep in mind that those who want a Camaro are most likely waiting for the new one. Its price deflation due to a coming model. Just like with the Fox/New Edge Mustangs. But, the tightazzed economy and fuel price are also working against you. Things are getting to the point that you cant rely on "rich guys" to still be willing or still ABLE to buy stuff. Try AutoTrader.com, Cars.com and Craigslist. EBay already has a built in "deflationary" component to it regardless of the economic picture.
