Converting Saleen engine to 04 Cobra setup!

I've been giving some thought to the idea of converting my 04 Saleen 2V engine to a 04 Cobra 4V set up. Has anyone ever done this conversion?

I know I would need a new blower, heads, injectors as the main peaces however I'm sure I could find the parts used as many of you Cobra owners are swapping your blowers for KB.

What are your thoughts? Any suggestions on combinations or suggestions?

I've also been told that the 3V heads are just as good as well since they have less moving parts.

    Thanks!

i think it would be a good setup. though i would shop around and try to pick up a whole motor, as its the cobra's bottom end that makes it truely stand up to the torture we all like to put on our cars.

^^Yep, I was just about to post that. Looks like you may be in luck AZSaleen - already modded to around 531 hp and he may still has the IRS.

Thanks for the post. I'm not sure if I'm ready for an engine swap as only have 19K miles.

Are the internals different from a cobra to a saleen?

    Thanks for all the help!

Yes, the cobra has Manley H-beam rods, steal crank, forged pistons, and some SRP hardware.

do the swap if yo have the money, that motor has low mileage too if im not mistaken. Sell your motor after its out. Get some of the money back
