    WoW! Nice pics.

I'm going to Puerto Rico Friday night where I will be for 2 day's and then going on a cruise to the Carribean for 7 day's. Looking forward to the crystal clear waters! But there is a catch! I'm getting married on Monday in St.Thomas on the beach!

I recommend a mustang event be held here! Great pics Chris. Now I got Hawaii on the brain. One place Ive always wanted to go and never have been there. We had a vacation where the picks were Hawaii or Scottland. Well Scottland won out. Glad I did that one. I heard it was unreasonably expensive in Hawaii like 2 eggs and bacon for 15.00. Would love a Wave Runner run across some of these waters.

    JoeT,

Hawaii is not as expensive as everyone thinks. It all depending on where you go and what you do.

Gas is the same as here now...$4.10 gal

Food at Safeway was very similar as here, maybe 10% more on some items.

We had breakfast at one place and total tab was $22 and we pigged out.

Average room rates are $150/night and up. We stayed our last night in a Best Western suite with full kitchen for $132.

Now go to the high end resorts like Princeville and you'll pay $24 for a club sandwich and $8 for a beer. But local restaurants are no different then here.

One tip is never fly Sat to Sat...it's the most expensive two days to travel. Sat to Sat from Phoenix to Kauai runs near $750. Stay an extra day and fares from Sat to Sun ran us $420ea. Big savings.

80% of the people that fly to Kauai are timeshare people and the airlines know that.
Midweek to midweek should also get you cheap fares.

CONGRATS! It only hurts for a little bit, then you'll do exactly what she tells you.
