I think i'll just stick with the one that come with the clutch kit, anyone tried packing extra grease into the tob to get some extra life out of it? I know if the cable is adjusted properly the tob will not go bad but I just like to cover all bases adn be prepared for what could happen. I don't what that trans of the car again for a very long time after this week lol
Also the clutch feels like it's "nothchy" opposed to smooth when letting out on it, only when it's cold, anyone heard of this? Almost like the tob is not riding smoothly on the retainer sleeve. It's a McLeod sleeve too. I think the new clutch will take care of these issues but figured i'd post them up before the trans is out rather than after it's all back together.

Well mine always goes away once the trans has warmed up, I never have an issue with it after high rpms, but I NEVER get on it until the motor is fully warmed up.
I think spraying some grease/WD40 on the sleeve will help and since the trans will be down the sleeve can be lubed without any worry of spraying the clutch area. I don't think I would try spraying though the cover plate but that's just me lol
