Which car out there gets the best MPG that is in the range of 3-6K dollars, I hate to think about it but i just cant afford my car right now with the gas prices and such so i am thinkin about getting a gas saver, so what car gets the best?

I second the Escort. I had a 94 LX that averaged 42 mpg. 1.9L with a manual trans. You really can't go wrong.
