    Intercooler, Aftercooler...

    ...are they really necessary? I've come across several mustangs (fox,sn-95,s-197) with SCs(whipple, vortech, magnacharger) and no aftercooler. Could someone pls enlighten me?...thx...P

    Yes, they keep our IAT2's down, the cooler the temps the more efficient your car will run.

    Put the biggest heat exchanger you can find in.

    that's what I thought. So why are other ppl doin' SCs w/out IC/AC? To save money???

    Especially here and Foxes don't really like all the heat, you need one for sure. The cooler the better and I think it's just a money thing for sure but they are worth every penny..
