We use modern technology, called cell phones, lol. Besides who wants an ugly CB antenna on their stang, all that will do is get you laughed at.

I have one mounted in mine. It worked great when I drove to Nashville, Seattle, Mustang Ok, San Francisco... I use a magnetic base antennea and tuck it into the trunk when I am at shows. Besides the jokes on long road trips are funnier when every one hears them at once and you can instantly warn each other in case of an emergency like debris in the roadway, large pot holes, cops with ticket books.... try that with a cell phone.

I wish they would make a very compact one, we have a hand held for the long trips but it doesn't have much distance...

I have a 5 watt unit from Radio Shack that works well. Even better with the optional ant.

yeah i to have a magnetic one. just curious because im thinking about hooking it up under the driver seat so you cant see it. and yes jokes are amazing along the way. just curious of who and what opinions there are on them.

I keep a handheld FRS radio in my car for cruises and such. Its not high powered and has a range of a couple of miles.
