    I love it and I'm going to do the same. I hate my Shaker 1000, and just put an Alpine CDA-9886 in my '97 vert, and love it. I was going to use the cupholder bracket, but this is a much better idea.

    Great times on that V6 by the way...

    I've never heard the Shaker 1000. Is it just a POS?

    not bad for a stock stereo (like $1200 upgrade lol) but a $99 sony deck will sound better.

    I agree. When I pull the head I'm selling that, the amps/subs off and be done with them...
