    A Mustang for a Teenager

I've got a 2006 GT that I love and my 17 yr old son loves too much! I think it's too much power for a young driver. I'm looking for a mustang for him that is fun to drive and fairly easy to mod. I'm thinking something in the 1999-2004 range. Any suggestions?

It might be too much car for a new driver but if he is a little more mature about it I would let him drive it. My first car was a 89 GT and my dad went through the same thoughts you are.

I think a 2000 Mustang Gt Vert would be a prefect replacement for him

Perfect beginner car....late 90's gt....nice looking, good sound, but for the most part pretty tame. I'd think insurance would be pretty reasonable too....although V6's are the way to go for the cheap insurance.
