    help on oil pressure sender

Today i attempted to put my autometer oil pressure sender on and the unit will not fit. It's way to big in diameter and hits my block. Am i doing something wrong or what?

Sounds like you need a pipe extension to clear the block like the 84-93's had.
    Here's a pic with it installed on my 5.0 : http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2.../P9010028e.jpg

Edit: Not the circled item in that photo btw. That's the ACT Sender :).

oil? use the stock extender.... If it is the wrong thread retap it with a pipe tap. CLEAN there you go. on the pic it is the long silver thing on the front right side of the block.
