    April 1964 Ford unveils Mustang

    Important dates in March and April for our beloved mustang.

    March 9 - First production Mustang was built

    April 16 - First Mustang TV commercial

    April 17 - The Public Rollout (Debut) @ The New York World's Fair

    April 18 - The first Mustangs cruise the highways - The route was New York to Motown - 750 miles in virtually hand-built cars.
